Car fire on I-77

Today around 12:30 PM the tones were set off for a car fire on Interstate 77 at the 13 MM. When the HVFD arrived on the scene it was a 2000 F-650 Ford that was fully involved. The driver Ronnie Profitt of Bluefield Va. Was already out of the truck, he said that he was driving the truck for East River Transport out of Bluefield when the truck backfired he noticed the fire that's when he pulled it over and got out, the VSP and others tried to put the fire out with fire extinguishers but were not successful. No injuries were reported but the truck was a total loss.
