Betrayal

The recent release of email exchanges concerning global warming and climate issues exposed a raw nerve in the core of our ecological psyche. We have been betrayed. We have been lied to. That sinking feeling in the pit of the stomach. Those we have looked up to and trusted have manipulated information, stringing along a believing population like the Pied Piper. And now we see the dark underbelly, that it was lies and deception.

For decades now we have been told that the hole in the ozone layer was caused by human activity and pollution and now we see that was not true. We were told that global warming was upon us and would wreak death and destruction unless we quickly began to make changes in how we work and live. It was a lie. And not an altruistic lie told to protect a fragile planet, but a greedy money-loving lie that enabled the wealty to profit from the deceptions. Al Gore made BILLIONS of dollars from this fraud. He was no better than the other vile politicians who came before him. Another profiteer with a plan.
